ARS NECRONOMICA is a three-gallery survey of fine, commercial and
outsider art, both contemporary and historical, that will redefine the
life and creative legacy of iconoclastic author H. P. Lovecraft
(1890-1937). This three-part exhibition will showcase and build upon the
existing patina through explorations in popular culture and the visual
arts with an unrivaled collection of work from international and
regional sources.
This series of events, organized by the
Lovecraft Arts & Sciences Council, is being held in conjunction with
NecronomiCon Providence (necronomicon-providence.com), a citywide
celebration of the author and his writing.
